"We stayed at Troutbeck over the new year and walked via kentmere to Staveley (and more importantly the brewery!!) We luckily noticed your restaurant on the way past and made sure we returned at 5.30pm to get a table for six. I just wanted to say what a wonderful evening we all had.(apologies for the noise, the brewery was very good) Fabulous and authentic food served in very relaxed surroundings. We loved the enthusiasm you both showed and hope your business continues to grow.

just to say, we've just finished* our takeaway and it was sublime! the Kentmere pie is awesome and the Kashmiri Beef is melt-in-the-mouth! And so thoughtful to give us the Indian flakes of corn for the chana chaat separately so they didn't go soggy. We'll be dropping off the pie dish at the Spar tomorrow. Well done and keep up the good work, we're so pleased that we live down the road from your restaurant.
